I am a social scientist specialising in community livelihoods and development, food security and natural resource and environmental projects. A large focus of my work involves designing appropriate implementation approaches and monitoring and reporting the social change and impact of these development projects. Over the past 26 years I have worked on projects across South Africa as well as in seven other Central and Southern African countries.
Since the early 1990s I have been involved in both travel and outdoor adventure sports photography and have travelled to over 30 countries across six continents.
I have for the past few years been combining my photography experience and my scientific background to support clients, non-profits, community tourism and other groups with social documentary and visual stories to capture and show their impact and activities through images. Please feel free to make contact if you wish to discuss any opportunities where my photography or input may be able to add value to your organization.
